Losing Fraser for literally nothing really stings. I was looking forward to seeing more of him this year and next.

Playing arguably there best game of the year.......

But the Red Wings have yet to stop fighting.......it's kinda impressive on Detroit's part.

The Bruins have out played them thus far but you can see a swagger and confidence in the Wings that the Bruins have had for years.

I love the way Detroit plays......skill, speed, puck possession, quick slick passing, great stick handling.......such a fun style to watch.

I think playing against a heavy team like the B's really brings out the best in Datsyuk.

And Griffith proves again he's just about the only player in the organization with a scoring touch. Gotta get him a regular roster spot

Pastrnak had a nice OT goal tonight in world juniors.

He needs a top six spot to be effective....a playmaker feeding him pucks.

So, play him with Krejic or Bergy?

I'd be ok with him too if its an either/or situation. Both bring exactly what Boston is missing.

He is ripping it up in the AHL too.

He's a AHL point leader and has played around 8 few games then most players ahead of him

23gp 10g 17a that's 1.17 points a game!

Hope to see him in the NHL soon.

100% chance he gets at least a few games with Lucic-Krejci after the wjc. Hopefully he takes advantage

Btw... Loui (frank)ing Eriksson man. He's really come around. So many takeaways, creating offense and just looks like a dangerous player. I think he's driving the 3rd line more than Soderberg right now.

Is Griffith a top six forward or not....?

I'm not sure either way..........

But we are never going to see him hit his potential unless he is given a shot.

Hey......did anyone know who Boychuck was before Boston...?

Seindenberg?

Mark Recchi was thought to be washed up and slow...........

Chris Kelly wasn't considered a big pick up and then he clicked in Boston...

Pevs was considered so and so........

Horton was considered a lost cause in Florida....

Ottawa let Chara go......for DRUM ROLL.....Wade Redden......

Kessel was overrated.....

Seguin was an in mature drunk......

Thorton was never going to reach his potential.....

BRAD BOYES was traded for Dennis Weidmen.......

CHRIS VERSTEEG was traded for Brandon Bochenski......remember that guy.....what a stud!

Blake Wheeler.....

Sabotka......

Point is simple.......how the hell do we know what we have in talent if we never give them a shot?

Neither does Lucic and one of the greatest Bruins of all time was known as a bit of a slogger. Do you remember the great #8??

Point is, Fraser never really got a shot. Same thing for Jordan Caron. Great talent wasted on a coach who favors "veteran presence" over actual skill. I love what Julien has done with this franchise since taking over, so don't color me as a Julien-hater. I'm just saying that the greatest flaw he has exhibited as a coach is his inability to give the young studs a chance to prove themselves.

A little bit rambling but great point. I agree completely.

As much as I am a fan of Lucic, I would love it if we could trade him before he leaves after next year. Move him, Campbell, Paille, Seidenberg, Kelly, etc. Bring in some prospects/young talent and some picks. Enough with this salary-cap suffering.

Most guys in this blog love to bash players without ever giving them a shot.

And then ignore players like Lucic and Marchand.

We have seen A LOT of stars GIVEN away over the last ten years and then there are a lot of other players we could be using right now.......it kinda sucks.

Holy sh&t so now Your comparing Fraser to Lucic

People the Bruins played a great Team game last night, they dererve credit everyone bought into it together but to say Fraser, Griffith, Caron haven't really had a chance to play is just not True.
